Silicon Valley International School

MISSION - Silicon Valley International School's focus on inquiry and bilingualism empowers young minds to embrace complexity, think critically from multiple perspectives, and demonstrate integrity and sensitivity across cultures.
Silicon Valley International School offers a dynamic bilingual education that isn`t just about becoming fluent in two languages. More importantly, it is about learning through language.
Every day, students immerse themselves in a rich multilingual and multicultural environment and develop the cultural literacy and communication skills they will inevitably need to thrive in an international setting.
Inquiry-based learning is an approach to education in which students are fully engaged by asking questions, reaching for answers, making bigger-picture connections, reflecting on learning, and taking action.
Teachers in INTL's International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years and Middle Years Programme facilitate the understanding of specific content and skills outlined in our curricula, but in ways that allow students to connect, be curious about, and build their own understanding of the content and skills through a deeper grasp of concepts.
This unique educational approach prepares students for the rigor and demands of the world-renowned IB Diploma Programme taught in grades 11 and 12.
Silicon Valley International School strives to create a nurturing environment in which students are encouraged to reach their full potential.
Guided by the International Baccalaureate Learner Profile, social-emotional learning is woven into the fabric of the curriculum as well as taught explicitly.

Both of my kids go here and are achieving an amazing education. In addition to robust academics, there is a strong arts and music program. The teachers and administrative staff are smart, caring and involved. We are very happy with our children's critical thinking, problem solving and language skills - ISTP is preparing them to to participate in a worldwide economy. It's a great school.
